There is a mini fridge on site and a tall fridge freezer in your pantry room.
Own shower and loo
You have one camp shower and one proper loo (not a portaloo!) with a hot water basin. Eco toiletries inc. Some folk question; “one loo?” BUT we have done this for over a decade and never had an issue – 14 people over two days use the toilet at different times. At a festival the ratio is 85 women:1 W.C, we are well over-spec’d on the ratio.
BBQ grill and fire pit
Cocktails and firepits are the perfect hen weekend combo, Cook over fire options inc. a grill for the fire to BBQ on, plus a hanging cooking pot, and large cast iron fry pan for breakfast on the fire.

Frequently Asked Question About our Hen Do Glamping in Yorkshire.
All our prices are on the website – just click through. In summary though, the tipi site hire is a standard price for up to and including 14 guests and is £1590 from Friday 2pm to Sunday 11am. Extra guests are £30 each. Day guests are free.

Our tipi site is located in the rural outskirts of York, just 12 miles out. Providing a peaceful and picturesque setting for your hen party. We have added a map link at the top of this page.
York is in Yorkshire, and is central in the U.K making it ideal if you have guests travelling from the North and the South, and from the East and West!
We understand that toilet facilities are important for a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. We have a proper flushable loo in a brick building with a hot water sink.
Some enquiries mention about ‘one loo’ as if it may be an issue. We have ran the site, as is for a decade and it never is. If all 14 of you are here for two days and two nights, the chances of even a queue of two are rare. A festival has a legal ratio of 85 women to one toilet. We are well over spec’d on the loo front and it’s never been an issue once you are here, so do reassure your guests – it’s tried and tested and statistically sound!
We specialise in tipi glamping, with wooden tipi-like structures with raised beds, cosy rugs, glass candleabras and wood-burning stoves. We are not camping as such. The tipis are bedecked to make your stay comfortable, cosy and stylish.
You can see images of the beds and inside the tipis, above, in the gallery. There is a big difference between camping and glamping.
Although we encourage an unplugged, lo-fi vibe, we do have electricity to the site. At night the whole site is lit with warm white festoon lights which stay on all night for any toilet trips. There are a few electric sockets in the cosy hut for phone charging and hairdriers.
